Rezum NICE recommendation

Great news today that Rezum steam prostate therapy has received the seal of approval from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Not only is it effective with good durable results, but it is cost effective too, saving at least £500 expense to the NHS vs more invasive options such as TURP or HoLEP. As a day case option it is obviously very attractive in the current climate, without the need to stay in hospital like some other options. The first cases in Kent were performed earlier this year by myself at Kent and Canterbury, and I look forward to offering it more in the future.
